His casual demeanour demonstrates true mastery of difficult concepts as he is able to break down complicated musical ideas in an easy to grasp way. His intuition and empathy with students like myself is on full display when he struggles alongside you, helping you put together the musical puzzle without judgement or imposition. I would recommend Jacob to any player of any level simply because his range and understanding spans multiple genres and is complemented by the empathy of a world class teacher. His performing experience through his many travels have made him a well rounded and cultured player capable of bridging the world's of Jazz, Classical and Popular music with ease. 10/10!
